Allahabad high court quashes land acquisition for UP plant

The Allahabad high court on 13-04-2012 quashed the notifications for the acquisition of 650 hectare of land for the construction of an ambitious Rs 20,000 crore project for producing 2,640MW of power. The court allowed the writ petitions of farmers of Karchana and stalled the work given to Sangam Power Generation Company Ltd (SPGCL), an undertaking of the Jaypee Group in 2007.

    Why should any one invest in telecom of power sector, if executive action appear to be illegal after committing heavy fund
    who would trust the govt actions .
    it is better to playin stock market with money rather than accumulate capacities in manufacturing or fixed assets
