Bihar state, India pre-approves developers to build 198 MW of PV
The State Investment Promotion Board in the state of Bihar, India has pre-approved a list of 10 developers to build 198 MW of solar photovoltaic (PV) plants in Bihar. This list is now awaiting approval by the Bihar Renewable Energy Development Agency.
Once approved and built, the developers will sell the electricity that the plants generate to the Bihar State Electricity Board (BSEB) through power purchase agreements. The 16 plants proposed by the developers range in size from 5 MW to 40 MW.
