New power thermal plants to be operational by 2013: Sukhbir Singh Badal

TALWANDI SABO (PUNJAB): Punjab Deputy Chief Minister  Sukhbir Singh Badal today said the upcoming three  thermal power plants coming in the state will be operational by year 2013.
During a visit to the site of under construction plants, Badal said the first unit of 1980 MW  Talwandi Sabo power plant being developed by  Sterlite Energy with an outlay of Rs 11,000 crore would be operational by April 2013.
He said he would personally inaugurate this thermal plant on April 13, 2013 which is celebrated as Baisakhi day.
This would be the first thermal plant planned by SAD-BJP government ….
