Solar power for Indore airport in four months
The Devi Ahilyabai Holkar airport would soon be lit with solar energy. Airports Authority of India (AAI) has received bids for supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 100 kilowatts-peak (KWp) solar photo voltaic power plant at Indore airport. The plant, which will come up on build operate transfer (BOT) basis, is scheduled to be completed in four months.
AAI executive director (engineering) AK Mishra said that the earnest money deposit for the bid had been kept at `2 lakh. All the bids were received by July 6 and shortlisted for executing order.
