Huge tariff hike for Madhya Pradesh domestic consumers

With effective from 25th April 2015, MP domestic consumers has to pay more for electricity units consumed. Madhya pradesh regulatory commission has issued the new traiff order for 2015-16 which will make this summer hot for MP domestic consumers.

There is no change in the tariff for consumers consuming only up to 50 units per month, they still has to pay Rs 3.40/unit. Domestic consumers having consumption between 51 to 100 units now have to pay Rs 4.05/unit which is 20 paisa more then existing tariff.

Domestic consumers consuming between 101 to 300 units have to pay Rs 5.20/unit which is 40 paisa more then existing tariff.

For consumption above 300 units now will cost you Rs 5.70/unit which is 50 paisa more then which you are paying now.
