JSW Energy Q4 profit may jump 107.6% to Rs 362 cr: Poll

JSW Energy ‘s fourth quarter consolidated profit after tax is seen rising 107.6 percent to Rs 362 crore against Rs 175 crore in the year-ago quarter, according to a CNBC-TV18 poll.
The bottomline may be supported largely by operational numbers. Total income from operations may climb 7.7 percent to Rs 2,217 crore during January-March quarter from Rs 2,058 crore in the same quarter last year.
Operating profit is expected to grow 31.5 percent year-on-year to Rs 909 crore and margin may expand 740 basis points to 41 percent in March quarter due to fall in imported coal prices.
