No more power trading in Madhya Pradesh – CSS increased by Rs 1.65/unit

MPERC in order dated 17th April 2015 has defined the new open access charges which will be effective from 25th April 2015.

Now the industrial consumers to buy power through power exchanges i.e. IEX & PXIL has to pay the transmission charges of 50 paisa per unit as against the existing 48 paisa per unit.

Cross subsidy surcharge is also increased by up to Rs 2.16 per unit for the industrial consumers. Wheeling charges are also increased by 1 paisa per unit by MPERC.
