Azure Power commissions 10 MW solar plant in Chhattisgarh

NEW DELHI: Azure Power today said that it has commissioned a solar power plant of 10 MW capacity in Durg, Chhattisgarh.

“Azure Power has commissioned the first large scale solar plant of 10 MW capacity in Durg, Chhattisgarh,” the company said in a press release.

According to statement, Azure won this project under the Chhasttisgarh Solar Policy 2012-2017 to supply power to Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Limited (CPDCL), for 25 years.
