NOIDA: Tuesday night’s rain and thunderstorm led to a precautionary power shutdown in some sectors such as 11, 20, 30, 39 and 105 for over five hours. Other sectors such as 93A, 44, 45, 119, 120 faced constant tripping as well.
The power department claimed damages caused to cable boxes, line breakdowns and feeder issues in different places led to delay in restoration of power supply.
“There was no electricity in Sector 93A for the entire night. Neither was there any update on the power situation,” said Rajnish Nandan, president of Parasvnath Prestige RWA, Sector 93A.
