National Conference on Power Transmission & Distribution

PHD CHAMBER, Delhi

12th  July, 2017 at 9:30 a.m.

India’s transmission and distribution infrastructure up-gradation will require a huge investment—over USD 350 billion by 2022, therefore enormous investment opportunities for all. The huge amount of power generated in power station is to be transported over a long distance to the load centres to cater to the consumers with the help of transmission lines, towers and distribution companies. Though India has adequate power generation capacity, it has a substantial proportion of population having limited access to electricity mostly because of lack of proper transmission & distribution infrastructure. In order to achieve target of affordable electricity for all by 2019, India seriously needs to have robust power transmission & distribution network.  The T&D network needs to expand and modernize.

On this backdrop, PHD Chamber is organizing “National Conference on Power Transmission and Distribution” on 12th July, 2017, 09:30 am at PHD House, New Delhi. The objective of the conference is to highlight the opportunities, to look for solutions in the power transmission and distribution sector to reduce losses, to identify the most effective measures to accelerate the investments in the sector and to examine the technology options for future.

We have also invited senior representatives from Ministry of Power, senior officials of Central and State  Discoms, Senior Industrialists, Policy Makers, Thought Leaders, Financial Institutions, technology  companies etc to grace the occasion

You are cordially invited to attend the conference or nominate a senior official from your organization to attend the same.
