Adani Power soars by 7%, mulls wind power plan
Private power producer, Adani Power Limited, soared by over 7% during Friday’s trading session after the company announced its plan to set up a 150-megawatt wind power park on the sea shore close to its existing thermal power project.
The stock was trading at Rs 32.05, up by 7.87 % on BSE at 1406 hours. It opened at Rs 30, while on Thursday it closed at Rs 29.85. The scrip touched its intraday high and low at Rs 32.35 and Rs 29.85, respectively.
Its 52-week high stood at Rs 46.30 and low at Rs 23.35, respectively.
Adani attracted a traded volume of 1,75,88,981 shares and traded value of 5,473.69 lakhs.
The company has recently applied to the Odisha government for land to build an airport to cater to its Dhamra port, reported a leading news agency.
